Throughout the year, participants will explore each chapter of the Guidebook in depth, engaging in live meetings and open discussions centered around the quilt-making process. With a maximum of 10 participants, individuals will have the freedom to choose their preferred quilt project(s) as they progress through the following chapters:
Chapter 1.) Introduction: Dive into the world of quilting, understanding its history, significance, and the creative journey that lies ahead.
Chapter 2.) Supplies: Explore essential tools, fabrics, and materials required for quilting, learning how to select the best resources for your project.
Chapter 3.) Prepare Fabric: Master techniques for fabric preparation, including cutting, sizing, and organizing materials for seamless quilt assembly.
Chapter 4.) Piece Block: Learn precision piecing methods, creating beautifully crafted quilt blocks using various techniques and patterns.
Chapter 5.) Build Top: Seamlessly assemble quilt blocks into a cohesive and visually appealing quilt top, exploring design principles and layout.
Chapter 6.) Assemble Top: Dive deeper into the assembly process, ensuring precision and accuracy in joining quilt top components.
Chapter 7.) Hand Quilting: Explore the art of hand quilting, mastering stitching techniques and patterns to add a personal touch to your quilt.

All sessions will include a 2-hour Zoom meeting from 12-2 PM Central Time to facilitate engagement and accommodate international students.
This schedule dedicates February and March to piecing quilt blocks, followed by May and June for building and assembling the quilt top. August to September focuses on hand quilting, allowing for a gradual learning and practice period. October and November will cover making and attaching the binding, as well as final touches and celebrations, completing the 10-month workshop.
